Galactica Dradis is LOST Podcast #6 for "The Incident Parts 1 & 2"

Photobucket

Our last podcast of Lost's season six is ready for listening.  This week we break away from our usual ways as we basically just talk about what we thought about this episode instead of commenting while we view.  Don't worry we still kept in the fun and we still don't know what we're talking about but we enjoyed every second of The Incident parts one and two.  As always, stay tuned for our weekly segments: Orlando's Telemundo Moment of the Week, Kevin's Scott and Steve award for Extra Excellence, Marty's What Would Colonel Tigh Do and Jeff's Weekly Wilderness Survival Quiz.  Have Fun!!

Thanks for the podcast.I know you guys haven't done that many Lost podcasts but you're amongst the best imo - top 3.

Please please please do a Season 1,2 and 3 cast for BSG.I'm sure in this 7 month Lost hiatus you guys could fit in 3 extra shows.

Anyways, if you can't then I look forward to whatever you do next.

Hey guys - Just finished listening to the finale podcast for "The Incident." Great recap and theories... but Marty's Colonel Tigh moment - hysterical! I couldn't agree more with Tahir: Galactica Dradis is LOST is in my top 3 list of LOST/BSG favorites.

Please keep 'em coming during the hiatus... Without BSG and now LOST - the journey to 2010 is going to be so long.

Some podcasting ideas: BSG seasons (love 1 and 2 esepcially), Caprica (soon guys? please?), cover your favorite LOST episodes, and to give a nice dose of LOST goodness - please do a podcast on ComicCon as this will be the last hurrah for the LOST panel.

    Looking forward to more! Cheers!

    SPOILER AHEAD

My theory: The bomb didn't go off. Elizabeth Mitchell will not be back next season so we know Juliet's dead. But apparently everyone else will be back. So my theory is that they move through time but since Juliet is underground she will not survive. But it'll be interesting to see whether they move forward or back in time. I think it will be forward but I'd really like to see the Black Rock days.

    Great podcast guys!

    Hey guys,
Excellent stuff yet again, you guys crack mr up. Thanks for all the info on the statue and the egyptian Gods etc. The description you guys gave of Sobek definitely has a link to Jacob. ***Theory alett****
And I think that Esau manipulated Ben into getting rid of Whidmore cus if whidmore had not left the island no one would have been patrolling the place where Lock appeared after he left the island. Otherwise Lock would probably have died in the desert. Scuppering esau's plan.
Anyway guys, get that Caprica pod up soon and some pods on earlier BSG stuff would be very welcome.
I've listened to a few pods on other tv shows and you guys are by far the best.
So please don't leave it too long before you get together again on this excellent pod.

Definitely keep with the podcasts! Love both Lost and BSG...Marty does a great Col.Tigh. I miss good old Saul. My guess is that their is alot of crossover between Lost and BSG fans, but for those Lost fans who are looking for a way to spend the hiatus, ya can't go wrong with BSG DVD's.

Sawyer and Locke are my favorite characters and the idea that neither might have a happy ending makes me want to cry. I agree with O'Quinn, John Locke being nothing but a pawn is SO sad. BUT this is Lost and anything can happen.

How are we loosing characters like Locke, Juliet and Daniel, but Kate hangs around and hangs around........

    Hi again, guys.

I really really hope that you guys do some more podcasting during the hiatus. BSG Seasons 1/2/3 would be my preference, but early LOST would be a-okay, too. Or The Facts of Life. You know, whatever you post, I'll listen, 'cause you make me laugh.

What would Brenda do without "What Would Col. Tigh Do"? I shudder to think...

Ahh, gentlemen! Yet another very enjoyable podcast. This week's "weekly segments" were particularly good and made me laugh out loud at each of them. I can never give you enough praise...
And along those lines, I am one of the listeners who want you to continue podcasting. I understand it is a large time-eater and I don't want to encourage you to do something that you really want to take a break from. However, I would love to hear podcasts on any or all of these: Sarah Connor Chronicles; Lost rewind (previous seasons analyzed with what we know now), BSG rewind (ditto), Caprica (I would listen, but I was not blown away by the DVD movie. It had possibility though. Also, STAR TREK !!) and other movies like maybe Terminator Salvation.

Here is the thing, guys, you have something to offer that no other 'casters have that I know of. Your acting! Your familiarity with the craft, your wit, your improv, etc. No other podcasters give us this perspective and this type of listening experience. You joke about your ineptitude and analyzing Lost, but you're just as good as the next bunch, and you're more entertaining.

Here is the guilt: I am a newly graduated nurse (very skilled) and CANNOT find a job right now in the Bay Area (none of my classmates can) so, we are all depressed. YOUR PODCAST MAKES ME HAPPY! I love listening to your banter and comments. At least give me that. Have a frakkin' heart, MutherFrakkers!!!!!

PS - I hear good things about Fringe now. I didn't like it the first 5 episodes or so and stopped watching. But now it's supposed to be better. Maybe a cast on that?

Star Trek WAS awesome!! I am going to see it again soon. I love how ...(POTENTIAL SPOILER next.....)

...the writers/producers found a way to make this an almost entirely new franchise! I am psyched about what is to come....

So I got around to watching the finale a second time. A couple of things jumped out at me.

    **Theory Alert**

Jack when ask about Locke says, "Yeah, I know him... and if I were you, I wouldn't give up on him." Obviously, this influences Richard's later interaction with Locke, but I couldn't help but interpret this as a message to the viewers as well. Call me crazy, but I don't think we've seen the last of the real John Locke.

One of you guys made the comment that Juliet stopped Sawyer from beating Jack because the writers told her too. Watching it the second time, I think there is motivation for it. When they stop at Bernard and Rose's camp, Bernard says that being together is the only thing that matters. At that moment, Sawyer looks at Kate. Juliet see this, and as she leaves their camp she seems visibly affected. It is a little subtle, but I think this is where Juliet begins to change her mind about stopping Jack. Later, after the fight, she actually says she changed her mind when she saw Sawyer look at Kate. I'm probably being Captain Obvious here, but I missed it the first time and thought it was a nice moment when I actually noticed it.

Hey guys, normally I'm just a lurker but you asked us in your last show to tell you what we thought of your show. I've enjoyed BSG but I never listened to any of your podcasts until you started doing the Lost ones, and I must say you guys have one of the most entertaining show about Lost ever. I look forward to each new episode.

Not only is your show entertaining but you guys have some of the most intelligent discussions and commentaries that I've heard. Only a few other Lost Podcasts show the same level of intelligence (The Transmission, The TV Critic's Lost podcast, and a few others) The rest of them are either poorly produced "water cooler" conversations that can last upwards of three hours or more (boring!!) or they are well produced shows that have really annoying hosts who think they know everything but come up with some of the most nonsensical theories and ridiculous connections. It just drives me crazy to listen to it sometimes.

You guys have a well produced show, the conversation is tight and engaging, your chemistry as hosts is top notch, and your weekly bits are hilarious (I'm glad I've seen BSG so I can appreciate the Col. Tigh moments. One little critique though: You throw out the appropriate number of "fraks" but I think a few "gods dammit"'s would mix things up a little bit and add to those moments.)

So now to answer your question: YES, please keep making this show! I love it, I'm going back to listen to your BSG shows now and if you do the earlier seasons I'll listen to those too. Also, when I first heard your Lost show I thought, "wow, where have these guys been the last 4 seasons?" I wish you had been doing this show from the beginning, and the hiatus might be a good chance to start Lost from the beginning too!

Whatever you end up doing I'll be listening. Now, I return to lurking. Good luck and keep making this great show!

    SO SAY WE ALL!!

Another great 'cast. Hope its not the last. I'll listen to anything you guys produce, Lost, BSG, Caprica, yes, even Facts of Life, Quantum Leap or A-Team commentaries. BRING IT ON! (BTW, thanks for giving us time to watch Caprica.)

    So, finale...
I've no idea if Juliet will come back or not. I'm actually a fan of that theory of her returning, the same way Desmond did in season 3 after he turned the fail safe, crashed the plane, and landed somewhere else ALIVE after the electromagnetic implosion blew off his clothes. All of this has happened before...pretty filter be damned.

I hope the real Locke isn't done. I'm with Joel's theory ^ on that.

Also, I think any bodies on the island, buried or not, seem to be fair game for being manifested by the monster. Alex who was buried, didn't slip by. Richard's Others know this when asked for the body of the other Sawyer killed earlier in the season.
